For guys who run hot and need fast temperature control on cold-weather efforts, the Clima-Tek Zip T is our top pick for a slim, versatile base layer. Activated carbon technology actually neutralizes odor rather than masking it — critical on multi-day trips or back-to-back training days. Four-way stretch and a peached-soft feel make it disappear cleanly under any shell.

• Deep quarter-zip with chin guard lets you vent or seal up on the fly — no stopping, no fumbling with gloves on
• Clima-Tek fabric with activated carbon actively neutralizes odor at the source, not just covers it — built for longer efforts and multi-day use
• Peached interior texture sits soft against skin — none of the scratchy, abrasive feel you get from cheaper synthetics
• Four-way stretch and a slim, low-profile cut layers cleanly under mid-layers or shells without bunching or riding up
• UPF 30 sun protection and moisture-wicking performance extend the usable range from late fall through early spring — available in Black, Grey Heather, Nightfall Heather, and Burgundy Heather
